Thank you to all who took the time to read through my "journey!"
I know this means a special thank you to my Cadre 8 Mates: Judy (my Zpal), Lisa (my collaborator through the Tech Planning courses, especially), Jodi (our Math Geek), Karen (our Cadre 8 Web page designer), Joe (our hero), Alane (our Germany, time-issue friend), Pam (who has taught for so long and is now mentoring teachers), and Kim (who has a wonderful southern accent and caring heart about teaching).
Of course, I know that some of my professors might peek at this. So, I want to thank them for their "guiding by the side." Val you were a wonderful, caring, and informative guide! Joe, thanks for informing me what Wikis and Blogs are, and thanks for introducing me to Dreamweaver and my own domain at GoDaddy.com. Barry, I learned so much in "Special Topics;" how did we have the time to cover all that we did? Mary, I can never thank you enough for what I accomplished by creating my faculty website; the courses in design and information design are memorable. Jim, the courses in emerging technology and advanced educational technology made me reach further--and I finally created my own podcasts and an online course--with Moodle. Elisabeth, analyzing my college's technology plans can only help my students, the college, and myself. And, saving the best for last: Dear Dr. KB; how can I express my appreciation? You were an "awesome guide by the side from the start to the finish." You kept the "bar raised"--and we experienced that challenge at the beginning, in the middle (with the GLP), and now, at the finish line. <sigh> Do you know we love you?
To all the others who read through all this, please accept my total appreciation!
