Learn about their own culture:

Students bring artifacts in a container to class. They display and share what makes them who they are.

Begin to learn about other cultures:

Sign-up with an educational learning site:

Register for TappedIn at http://tappedin.org/tappedin Students learn that the TappedIn environment allows for chat (synchronous) and discussion boards (asynchronous) as well as the whiteboard (asynchronous).

Register at ePals: Create an ePal's e-mail account by clicking: http://www.epals.com. Once created, go to "Find Classrooms" to find country/culture that you are researching. Attempt to find an adult to ask questions about your research.
Communicate with "Experts":

"Experts" make an eAppearance or e-mail students to share about doing business with a specific culture.

Research to form valid information about doing business with another culture:

This may include library or Internet valid facts OR online or face-to face interviews with others that have done business with a specific culture. (Students have already decided which culture to share an informational report about.)

Write their informational report:

This report is to inform the reader about how to behave when doing business with this culture/country. It should be three to five pages, double-spaced, three to five references should be used, and use the third person (no personal pronouns).

Create a PowerPoint to share what they've learned:

This PowerPoint should have references. Present this PowerPoint in class and allow it to be posted here on the Internet to share with others what has been learned about doing business with a specific culture/country.
